info Protect Medway: We need to fight the virus together

Under the latest government guidelines, from Monday, 14 September, you can only socialise in groups of no more than six people. This is a legal requirement.

Do not put your friends, family and your community at risk. Coronavirus has not gone away – by working together we can prevent more cases and keep Medway safe.

Remember:

  • Social distance from anyone not in your household
  • Wash your hands regularly
  • Wear face coverings in shops, shopping centres, public transport and when you visit council buildings. Stay up to date with our services
  • If you have a coronavirus symptom (a new cough, high temperature or a loss of taste and smell), stay at home and book a test online or by calling 119 - you can expect your result the next day.

Protect yourself and others. We will get through this together.

During the current situation, our priority is to continue providing essential council services, while protecting the health and wellbeing of our residents.

Check the service updates page for details of sites and buildings that remain open as well as the latest closures as they're decided.

The current situation means we may have difficulties in handling your calls. If you do not need to speak to someone urgently, you can apply, book, report or pay for lots of council services online.
