Description

The British Deaf Association stands for equality, access and freedom of choice.

We believe that every Deaf person has the right to communicate in his or her own language, integrating British Sign Language into everyday communication.

The British Deaf Association also believes that every Deaf child has the right to bi-lingual education.

Part of the BDA's work includes information and advice, a membership group, and projects including creating an archive of the lives of deaf people.
