Carers Relief Service is part of the Age UK Medway Group.
It provides a variety of support and respite for individuals with learning disabilities and vulnerable older people, including:
- a flexible service based on the carer's or client's needs
- personal support workers to work in the community with adults who have a learning disability
- encouragement for adults with a learning disability to make choices about the activities they engage in within their community
- support for older people at home or within the community.
Our personal support workers can help with a wide selection of activities, including:
- community support (such as shopping, education or work, and days out)
- meals and support whilst at home
- a sit-in-service offering companionship, social interaction, food and drink, and activities in the home.
