The Brain Tumour Charity
Description

The Brain Tumour Charity runs a children and families service which aims to reduce anxiety and isolation for children, young people and families by giving them the help, understanding and support they need.

We hope it will help them to develop ways to cope, take control and build supportive networks.

As part of our services for children affected by brain tumours we have developed the 'Brainy Bag'. This will be given to all children diagnosed with a brain tumour and will provide both a treat for diagnosed children and a useful resource for their families and carers.

You can complete an order form on the charity's website to order a brainy bag.

The Brain Tumour Charity provides family days which enables families to get out and enjoy activities while also being among other people going through similar situations.

These are regional days out and details of current family days may be viewed on the charity's website.

The Brain Tumour Charity has also developed a series of animations to help children to understand both brain tumours in children and treatment options, and what it means to have a parent with a brain tumour.
