Hempstead Active Retirement Association (HempstARA) meets on the third Wednesday of each month with speakers and a varied programme of activities.

Activities include:

  • pilates
  • art
  • coffee mornings
  • lunch club
  • quizzes
  • whist
  • ten pin bowling
  • Elastixs
  • rambles
  • new age Kurling and Boccia

We also run a play reading group in Hempstead library on the fourth Monday of each month which is open to non-members who enjoy drama.
