Description

Invicta Powerchair Football Club runs training sessions for physically disabled young people, male and female, to play a form of wheelchair football in powered wheelchairs. It is a 4-a-side game.

This is an opportunity for young people who use powerchairs to go about their daily lives, to take part in a skilful team sport.

The powerchairs are specially designed for this sport with bumpers on the front and back to 'kick' and move the ball.

Take part

We have sessions fortnightly on Saturdays 2pm to 4pm and fortnightly on Thursdays 5pm to 7pm.

We also play in the Sout East Regional Powerchair Football League.

We welcome anyone to come to our training session to find out more about the sport and give it a go.

More information can be found on the national website www.thewfa.org.uk.
