Medway and Swale Urology Support Against Cancer (MUSAC) Support Group
Description

The MUSAC Support Group meets every second month in the Rowan Williams Court Building room RWG15 at 30 Pembroke Court on the Canterbury Christchurch University Medway Campus. This is usually on the first Monday evening of the month (Feb, Apr, Jun, Sep, Nov and Dec) between 7pm and 9pm.

The group has a varied programme of events including presentations by clinical professionals, experts providing general help and advice, open forum informal discussions and fun related social events.

The group aims to provide awareness of urological cancers and to support those affected by bringing together patients, their relatives, medical practitioners and other occasional experts. This aims to foster the best possible sense of wellbeing and understanding for all concerned.

The MUSAC support group is available for those affected by the following cancer types:

  • bladder cancer
  • kidney cancer
  • penis cancer
  • prostate cancer
  • testicular cancer

The group supports all those affected by cancer, including patients, carers and relatives.

We offer:

  • counselling
  • dietary therapy
  • information
  • professional counselling
  • support from health professionals
