The Parkinson's UK Medway Towns Branch offers information, friendship and support to local people with Parkinson's, their families and carers, along with organising regular events and social activities.
At our monthly meetings, in the morning there's a dedicated programme for those with Parkinson's and a carer's support group. In the afternoon there are usually speakers, light entertainment and sometimes a quiz.
We use an aroma-therapist and also eight of our members at each meeting get the opportunity to have a massage.
The meetings take place at St Stephen's Church Hall in Chatham on the fourth Saturday of the month, from 10:30am to 3:30pm.
