Text chat service

You can have a confidential one-to-one conversation with a member of the Survivors UK team via Text Chat, text us at 020 3322 1860.

During the service's availability hours, just send a text to the number from your phone and someone will get back to you.

You will receive an initial confirmation that someone is available and an automatic message asking for your age, gender and where in the country you're contacting us from.

Once you've answered this the chat session can begin.

There's no pressure when you use text chat, you can use it as little or often as you like.

Text chat is not counselling – but it is a first step toward talking about the difficulties that survivors face.

If you're having a hard time and you want a question answered or a concern addressed, then text chat is a quick and easy way for you to get the help you need.

Text Chat services are available Monday to Friday, 10.30am to 9pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am to 6pm.

Webchat service

Web chat allows you to have a confidential one-to-one chat with one of our trained staff.

Web Chat services are available Monday to Friday from 10.30am to 9pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 6pm.

Our team are experienced in supporting you to share things at your own pace, when you are ready.

Web chat is under your control, so you can choose to end the conversation whenever you want.

Web chat is a helpline for men who have experienced sexual abuse either as a child or an adult.

We also speak to their close friends and family.

We keep all information confidential within our organisation.

However – if you disclose information regarding a serious crime (such as terrorism) or about a child who may be at risk of harm, the law may require us to breach your confidentiality.

If we're able, we'll inform you of this during your contact with us.
