The Hermione Social club offers a secure place for those with a disability to make and meet friends and have fun. There is disabled access for wheelchair users.
The club's members include a team of volunteers and drivers who give up their time to commit to and assist the running of the club. The Hermione Club is mainly there to let people be themselves.
The Hermione Club is not a registered charity so it relies on a variety of donations.
The Hermione Social Club is open on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm to 9pm.
Yearly membership is £5 while the weekly entrance fee is £3 (the first visit is free).
Activities/facilities include playing pool, playing cards, a music area, a computer area to play games, a tea bar and tuck shop with subsidised prices, a weekly raffle, outings and Christmas and fancy dress parties.
