If plastic film shopping or food bags (such as bread bags) cannot be reused they can be taken back to many large supermarkets.
Visit Recycle Now to find your nearest shop or supermarket.
If you're unable to take the plastic back, you should dispose of it in your general household waste (black sacks). We cannot accept these in your kerbside recycling.
Handy tip: if the bag does not stretch it's cellophane and cannot currently be recycled.
