The British Wireless for the Blind Fund provides the Sonata Plus+ Radio which is easy for blind or partially sighted people to use.
The radio may be available on free loan following an assessment or is available to buy from BWBF Direct.
The Sonata Plus+ is an easy to use internet audio player with a single volume dial and five buttons.
Listening choices are made by following the audible programme guide and pressing 'OK' to select.
Once set up, the unit can be operated by remote control and, as it is also wireless, it can be used anywhere around the home.
A broadband internet connection is required.
