The British Wireless for the Blind Fund provides the Concerto 2 Radio which is easy for blind or partially sighted people to use.
The radio may be available on free loan following an assessment or is available to buy from BWBF Direct.
The radio has a:
- stereo DAB/FM radioCD/USB/SD card player with bookmark facility
- stereo cassette player and recorder
The Concerto 2 comes in charcoal with contrasting yellow controls to help those with residual vision. These key controls have raised tactile symbols for further ease of use.
The 'bookmark' facility remembers your place and aids your enjoyment of audio books.
The radio has a large, easy to read LCD display with a zoom function and weighs around 7.2 lb.
