The British Wireless for the Blind Fund provides the Duet 2 Radio which is easy for blind or partially sighted people to use.
The radio may be available on free loan following an assessment or is available to buy from BWBF Direct.
The Duet 2 Radio offers FM and DAB stations and includes a 'favourite' button which allow you to store your favourite radio station on a single button.
Menu, station names and information are displayed on a large amber backlit LCD panel.
Features include:
- ten station presets (five FM, five DAB)
- search or manual tuning
- rotary tuning, volume and tone controls
- headphone socket for private listening
It is mains/battery operated and weighs about 4 lb.
