Description

Hawthorn Manor is a 37 bed registered purpose-built residential care home, with a large enclosed garden and courtyard with fish reservoir and water fountain.

All rooms have en-suite facilities and some rooms feature self-contained kitchenettes for residents to use if they wish.

Hawthorn Manor operates an open-visiting policy so friends and family can visit at any time, with no booking requirement.

Residents are welcome to bring their own small pieces of furniture and personal mementos.

Care is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is directed by highly skilled healthcare professionals who hold NVQ certificates in health along with undergoing the home's own on-going training programmes.

Respite care

Respite care is a service for people who wish to stay at Hawthorn Manor on a short term basis.

This can be for people who need a little extra support as they recover from an illness or operation and can be for a day, a week or a few months.

Respite stays can also be arranged to give the carer of someone who is unable to look after themselves a well-earned rest.
