Description

Platters Farm Lodge is a purpose-built residential resource centre that provides rehabilitation and respite with Day Service, set in spacious grounds.

The centre is situated within a short distance of Rainham railway station, Rainham High Street and the Hempstead Valley shopping centre.

Platters Farm Lodge is managed by Strode Park Foundation in partnership with Medway Council and Medway Community Healthcare.

The rehabilitation service provides structured programmes that help people who have experienced ill health, disability, accidents or who have lost the confidence to lead independent lives.

A multi-organisational, multi-disciplinary team delivers this care.

Respite care

Respite care gives you and your carer the chance for a short break or can be used for temporary difficulties, for example, if you are recovering from an illness or an injury.

Our rehabilitation service offers a short stay therapy programme if you require a period of safely managed, structured support in a supervised setting so as to regain recently reduced or lost abilities.

The length of stay is generally one to six weeks depending on your individual needs.

All the accommodation is all on ground floor level with disabled access throughout and comprises 3 self-contained wings.

Visitors are welcome at any time except during main meal times.
