History

Ranscombe Farm Reserve occupies 264 hectares immediately west of Strood and north of Cuxton Village. With more than 10 miles (16km) of footpaths, it offers excellent opportunities to enjoy tranquil walks in an attractive rural landscape that is part of the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The whole area is managed in partnership with the wild plant conservation charity, Plantlife, with the aim of improving opportunities for public access and conserving biodiversity, while maintaining the working farm landscape and its historic pattern of woods and fields.

You are welcome to visit at any time, but remember that Ranscombe Farm is a working farm, so please respect crops and livestocks and keep to marked paths.
