Coronavirus (COVID-19) update

Capstone Country Park is open as usual. 

The cafe is open 7 days a week from 10am to 6pm, with outdoor seating available. Toilets are open until the cafe closes.

From Monday 17 May the cafe building will reopen with one way system in place.

Our outdoor exercise equipment is also available to use. 

Our educational building and children's play areas are open.

Fishing is currently allowed.

Please follow government advice on social distancing, to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Opening times

Opens at 7.30am to 8pm Monday to Sunday.

Main car park and Orchard car park

Open at 6am all year.

Closing times

  • January and February - 4.30pm
  • March - 6pm
  • April - 7.30pm
  • May to August - 8.30pm
  • September 7.30pm
  • October - 6pm
  • November and December - 4.30pm

You can book a day ticket Monday to Friday by emailing your fishing license to medway-countryside-service@ncsgrp.co.uk then call 01634 338 191 to make the payment over the phone. This measure has been put in place due to coronavirus (COVID-19). You would usually buy the ticket at the shop.

Capstone Country Park is currently open from 7.30am to 8pm.
