Roadmap out of lockdown
The government roadmap out of lockdown will help us get back to the things we love.
Check all of the details on the government's roadmap to ease restrictions on GOV.UK, including:
- Non-essential retail and personal care premises, such as hairdressers and nail salons, can re-open.
- Libraries and community hubs are open.
- Indoor leisure facilities, such as gyms, courts and swimming pools, can re-open - but only for use by people on their own or in household groups.
- Outdoor sports facilities, such as tennis and basketball courts, can re-open, and people can take part in formally-organised outdoor sports.
- Self-contained UK accommodation, such as holiday lets, where indoor facilities are not shared with other households, can re-open.
- Hospitality venues, such as pubs and restaurants, can serve people outdoors. The rule of 6 applies (up to 6 people, or 2 separate households), as do social distancing rules.
- Outdoor gatherings (including in private gardens) of either 6 people or 2 households are allowed.
- Funerals can take place with up to 30 attendees. Weddings, outdoor receptions, and commemorative events, including wakes, can take place with up to 15 attendees.
