Stray dog fund | Medway Council

When a stray dog is found in Medway, we make arrangements to collect and reunite it with its owner. If the owner cannot be found, we make every effort to find the dog a new home.

You can help care for the unclaimed stray dogs that come into our care by donating to the stray dog fund.

How your donation can help

Your donation will help to look after the stray dogs in our care as they enter our fostering and adoption scheme. Donations will help to:

  • pay for vet treatments for the dogs in our care
  • provide food for the dogs in our care
  • provide specialist equipment
  • provide additional training for dogs where necessary

Our work with stray dogs has been recognised by the RSPCA for the sixth year in a row. The RSCPA Gold PawPrints Awards recognise and celebrate our work with stray dogs.

With your help we can continue to provide care to stray dogs as they look for their forever-homes.
