Derelict and Empty Properties Strategy
Medway Council's Derelict and Empty Properties Strategy was adopted in April 2022.
The aims of this strategy and attached
- reduce the number of derelict and empty properties in Medway, through a coordinated approach working with internal and external agencies
- to offer a comprehensive approach, using all resources available to bring properties back into use
- to provide homes for Medway’s residents and lessen the adverse effect derelict and empty homes have on an area.
