Bus stop changes at Chatham Waterfront bus station
Due to upcoming works, bus stops A1 to A4 on Globe Lane will be closed from Monday 29 September for up to 8 weeks.
Buses which normally use these stops will be moved to temporary bus stops on platforms B, C, and D on Waterfront Way.

Free parking for Remembrance Sunday
You can park for free between 7am and 3pm on Sunday 9 November in the following car parks:
- Chatham – James Street and Riverside car park
- Gillingham – Medway Park
- Rainham – Cricketers car park
- Rochester – Blue Boar Lane (ANPR), Cathedral Car Park, and Corporation Street (ANPR).
A valid pay and display ticket or RingGo session must be bought outside of these hours.
If you arrive at a machine in any of the above car parks and the fluorescent free parking sign is still in place, you can leave your vehicle without paying the parking fee.
Car parks operating automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) will automatically being charging for parking from 3pm.
Rhode Street car park in Chatham will be closed from 7am until 3pm for the parade to form up and disband.
