Gillingham Pier mooring and slipway prices

You'll have to pay rent to keep or launch a boat at Gillingham Pier.

Prices include VAT.

Rent of berth

Rent on the Western Side of slipway will cost:

  • £78.30 per month or £781.20 per year for a berth under 30ft
  • £99.50 per month or £993.50 per year for a berth of 30ft to under 40ft
  • £144.20 per month or £1,451.40 per year for a berth of 40ft and over.

Rent to keep a leisure craft on the pontoon will cost:

  • £78.30 per month or £781.20 per year for a berth under 20ft
  • £99.60 per month or £993.50 per year for a berth of 20ft and under 30ft
  • £144.20 per month or £1,451.40 per year for a berth of 30ft and under 40ft.

The rent for vessels 40ft or over is to be negotiated.

Cost for commercial and casual mooring against the Western wall

For vessels under 20 tonnes GRT, mooring will cost:

  • £13.50 per day for a vessel under 20ft
  • £14.20 per day for a vessel 20ft and under 30ft
  • £20 per day for a vessel 30ft and under 40ft
  • £20.90 per day for a vessel 40ft and under 50ft
  • £27.50 per day for a vessel 50ft and under 60ft
  • £39.60 per day for a vessel 60ft and under 70ft
  • £52.60 per day for a vessel 70ft and under 80ft
  • £67.30 per day for a vessel 80ft and under 90ft
  • £82.90 per day for a vessel 90ft and under 100ft
  • an additional £1.60 per additional foot over 100ft per day.

For commercial vessels of 20 tonnes GRT and over (approximately 50ft boat), mooring will cost 50p per tonne, per day.

For long stays 60% discount will be allowed for the second period of 7 days and 80% for any subsequent 7 day periods after.

Slipway costs

The daily rate for using the slipway for painting and repairs are:

  • £24.50 per day for vessels under 30ft
  • £34.70 per day for vessels 30ft and under 40ft
  • £52.50 per day for vessels 40ft and under 45ft.

Launching (launch and haul out) will cost:

  • £20.30 per day for vessels under 30ft
  • £22.70 per day for vessels 30ft and under 40ft
  • £57.30 per day for vessels 40ft and under 45ft
  • £149 for an annual season ticket per boat (running from date of payment for 12 months).

Payment

Slipway and casual mooring fees are paid on the day to the Pier Masters. 

Berth rental is agreed in advance and berth holders will be invoiced. Contact the Pier Masters to enquire and set up an account.

The Pier Masters office is located in the block called the Boathouse, facing the pier and slipway.
