How to book your ceremony

To book your ceremony, you'll need to complete our online form.

You'll need to tell us:

  • the date on your Home Office letter or email
  • the type of ceremony you would like (group or private)
  • your first and last names
  • your address
  • your phone number
  • your email address (if you would like to get a confirmation)
  • when you would like to be contacted (morning or afternoon).

Once you have completed the form, you'll get a confirmation email (if you gave us your email address).

Medway Register Office will then call you within 5 working days to book your ceremony.

During the call, you'll:

  • book the date, time and venue of your ceremony
  • tell us the number of guests you would like if you're having a private ceremony
  • be told what to bring to your ceremony including your Home Office letter (or a printed copy of your email) and ID 
  • pay the fee if you're booking a private ceremony.

If you do not bring your Home Office letter or the correct ID, your ceremony will be postponed.
