Sessions at Hook Meadow were originally put in place to reduce anti-social behaviour (ASB) and provide positive activities.
During these sessions, the Medway youth team had open conversations with young people and they would like more activities in the area. A new youth session has now opened with lots of support from schools and local councillors.
As a service, we have worked with young people in the community to:
- provide youth sessions for them
- offer a safe space for them to attend
- provide access to support and guidance.
