Youth programmes in Medway

Medway Youth Council (MYC)

MYC is an independent youth led organisation that works on the issues facing young people in Medway. It's a forum that connects with youth groups across Medway to ensure young people are heard and acknowledged. They also consult with local decision makers to share and advocate for the needs and wishes of young people.

Activities include:

  • campaigning on issues that concern young people locally and nationally
  • running an annual conference on a theme chosen by young people
  • taking a lead role in organising and delivering youth achievement and recognition
  • representing the young people of Medway.

To become a member, you must be between the ages of 11 and 18 (years 7 and 13) and live, work or go to school in Medway.
