Travel in Medway
Medway is well connected to the rest of south east England and the rest of the country.
Road
Medway can easily be reached using major motorways.
From north, south and west via M25/A2/M2 from junctions 1 to 4. From London via M25, M26, or M20 junctions 4 for A228 or 6 for A229.
Rail
Train services in Medway are operated by Southeastern.
Medway has five main rail stations:
- Strood
- Rochester
- Chatham
- Gillingham
- Rainham
London Victoria, Cannon Street, Charing Cross and London Bridge provide regular services to Chatham and takes about 55 minutes.
There are also regular high speed trains (HS1) from London St Pancras Station to Chatham taking just 40 minutes.
