Terms and conditions
The following terms and conditions apply:
- by submitting a poem, you have consent from the student's parents or guardians to take part in the competition, the school are responsible for ensuring that consent has been received before submitting poems
- by submitting a poem, entrants are confirming they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions
- the student allows Medway Council to publish their poem in our libraries and on social media, with only the student's first name and school showing
- for winning poems, authors can be mentioned by full name and school, subject to parental or guardian consent
- the schools of the winning pupils will be contacted on Monday 9 May 2022 on the email address contact details given upon submission
- if the school of the winning student does not respond by 6pm on Friday 13 May 2022, another entrant will be selected
- only students from Medway schools can enter, with only one poem per student.
