Dance schools

Linda Wood at Active Adults Dancing 4 Life offer a variety of classes including:

  • ballet
  • ballet fitness
  • ChiChi fit
  • pilates
  • and tap.

Classes cater for all ages and abilities.


Classes start from £5.

The academy offers a variety of dance types including:

  • ballet
  • contemporary
  • jazz
  • modern
  • musical theatre

Pre-school ballet is available for children from 2 and a half years.

Ages: from children to adults.

Loop Dance Company is the resident dance company at The Brook Theatre in Chatham.

Nina Atkinson and 6 dancers create contemporary work for touring. They often work with internationally renowned guest choreographers.

Loop has an extensive dance education programme for:

  • people who have never danced before
  • professional dancers who want to perfect their skills.

Loop also initiate and co-produces the popular children's Christmas shows at The Brook Theatre.
