An up to date assessment of land availability is needed as part of the Local Plan making process.
We have reviewed potential sites for development and after publishing an interim Land Availability Assessment (LAA) report in September 2023, we have identified a sufficient supply of sites that are suitable, available and achievable for housing and economic land up to 2041. This includes:
- information gathered from the call for sites consultation from February 2023
- comments received during the Regulation 18 consultations in 2023 and 2024
- discussions with landowners and site developers.
The pre-submission Draft Local Plan has allocated specific sites for development.
