Rochester Art Gallery current workshops

Make your own artist's book with Ian Bottle

When: Saturday 16 March 2024
Time: 11am to 1pm or 2pm to 4pm
Where: Rochester Art Gallery.

Join exhibiting artist Ian Bottle for a free workshop to experiment with ideas to create your own artist's book.

Inspired by his wonderful books on show, you'll work with sequences of images using drawing, collage and some of your own images. You'll have the chance to experiment with simple bookmaking techniques to make your book.

If possible, please bring an A4 printed or photocopied image to use as a starting point to cut up and incorporate into your book.

Workshops are free but spaces are limited. You must prebook by emailing culture@medway.gov.uk. Sessions are repeated so only book one session.

Suitable for adults and young people aged 10+.
