You may be able to receive help if you have left the armed forces, meaning you're a veteran.
Leaving the armed forces can come with difficulties including:
- settling into life outside of the forces
- finding work and purpose
- new responsibilities that the army took care of before.
If you're a veteran of the armed forces, or a family member, there is support available to you.
If you think you'll become homeless
You should contact our homelessness team if you:
- think you may become homeless
- cannot find alternative accommodation.
If you're going to lose accommodation provided by the Ministry of Defence you need to:
- make sure you get a Certificate of Cessation of Entitlement to Occupy Service Living Accommodation
- show us your certificate.
