Creative Medway is launching a new website to promote, celebrate and support Medway's vibrant creative and cultural sector to grow and flourish on the local, national and international stage.

By animating the collectively written Creative Medway Cultural Strategy (2020 – 2030) through extensive partnership working, Creative Medway is setting out to enable as many Medway residents as possible to access the benefits of participating in creative and cultural activity.

The new website will launch on Monday (17 September).

Proud of Medway's creative sector

Fiona Watt, Chair of Creative Medway, said: "We are delighted to have been able to commission PW Creative to work with us to produce such a bold, impactful and dynamic brand and website to take us forward. We are very proud of the creative sector here in Medway and the passion that many within it have for working so closely with our communities. Our branding and website will offer an opportunity to make this work visible and extends an invitation to everyone in Medway to become involved in unlocking our future together."

Exciting events and programmes

Cllr Howard Doe, Deputy Leader of Medway Council and Portfolio Holder for Community Services, said: “We are incredibly proud of Medway’s fantastic creative and cultural sector and we will continue to support them. We are seeing a growing range of exciting creative events and programmes that residents of all ages can take part in and enjoy. I would encourage residents to find out more about Creative Medway by visiting their brand new website.”

Creative Medway would like to thank Arts Council England, Medway Council, Nucleus Arts and Medway Place Board for supporting our journey so far with funding and resources.

Our launch event has been supported by A+E Lab and Visual Elements. Their very exciting local, national and international work demonstrates the possibilities for what the future of creativity and culture might look like.
