Medway residents and local businesses are being encouraged to find out more about a scheme which could help them lower their energy bills and reduce their carbon emissions.

We have partnered with Kent County Council once again to promote Solar Together, which offers high-quality solar panels, at reduced prices.

Solar Together Kent is a group-buying scheme which helps households get a reduced price on the installation of solar panels.

The scheme aims to increase the number of solar panels installed across Medway, boosting local renewable energy generation and helping to deliver Medway’s vision of net zero carbon by 2050.

The innovative scheme was formed in 2008 and has successfully brought communities together across the country. To date Solar Together has delivered more than 14,000 installations and 300,000 tonnes of avoided lifetime carbon emissions across the UK. In the previous two phases of the scheme 120 homes in Medway have had solar installations.

Residents can register their interest in the scheme for free and without obligation.
