Residents are advised that some areas of Hoo Sports Centre will be temporarily closed for improvement works to be undertaken.
From Monday, 19 May to Monday, 30, June, the swimming pool and changing rooms will be closed to allow work to be carried out safely.
The reception, toilets, studio and gym at Hoo Sports Centre will remain open throughout the works.

Work being carried out includes replacing the old gas boilers at Hoo Sports Centre with new sustainable models, as well as improving the lighting throughout the centre.
These works form part of the work announced last year to improve the energy efficiency of Hoo Sports Centre, and are being funded through Sports England.
Swimming clubs and schools, as well as those who have booked swimming lessons, will be contacted directly.
Further improvement works at Hoo Sports Centre, including updating the changing room facilities, are also due to take place this financial year.
