Medway’s parents, carers and their babies and toddlers are invited to the Rochester Corn Exchange for a week of fun at Medway’s Baby and Toddler Week.
Child-Friendly Medway’s first ever Baby and Toddler Week will take place from Monday, 2 June to Friday, 6 June at the Rochester Corn Exchange.
This brand-new week-long event is packed with free daily activities designed especially for children aged 0 to 4 years-old and their families.
Sessions will take place in morning (10am – 12noon) and afternoon (1pm – 3pm) on each day throughout the week.
With soft play sessions, character meet and greets, baby and me photography, baby and toddler disco, baby bounce and rhyme, sensory dome sessions, chef demonstrations and much more on offer – there’s something for everyone.
No booking is required for any of the events – you can just drop in and enjoy the wide range of free engaging, educational and fun activities throughout the week.
A range of information stalls will also be available where parents and carers can find out about the support and advice on offer in Medway.
So many different activities
Cllr Adam Price, Medway Council’s Portfolio Holder for Children’s Services, said: “We are really proud to be launching our first-ever Baby and Toddler week. This is the perfect opportunity for people to come together and try something new and access support in a friendly and welcoming environment. There are so many different activities taking place throughout the week, and I hope as many of you as possible are able to join us!”
The Baby and Toddler Week is funded through the council’s Family Hubs and Start for Life Programme, which supports children and their families to give them the best foundation for future health and happiness.
