School’s out for the summer!

Summer in Medway has never been better. We've put on a series of family-fun and free activities for everyone.

If you're looking for something to do and places to visit during the school holidays, look no further.

Whether it’s arts and crafts at one of our libraries, or a drop-in sports session, we have something for all ages, interests and abilities.

And what’s even better, many of the activities are free to all our residents.

Do not miss out. Book your child on to one of the free places today – spaces are limited and our activities are popular.

Great days out in Medway

Medway attracts 5 million visitors each year to its selection of heritage attractions and leisure activities.

If you can, why not take your little ones on a great day out and visit one of Medway’s exciting tourist attractions (entry fees do apply).

Take part in a free heritage family trail at some of our own heritage sites, collecting trail badges and giving yourself a chance to win a family bundle of days-out tickets.

Or why not enjoy a great day out at one of our parks.

Teachers have plenty to see and do too, from visiting cultural attractions to enjoying the many restaurants serving food from around the world.

Free school meals with Medway Go

As well as all the free activities everyone in Medway has access to, we have also arranged a series of fun activity sessions, including a nutritious meal, especially for children receiving benefit-related free school meals. Transport can also be arranged to the activities.

Some of the activities are also open to those not currently receiving free school meals, but a fee may apply.
