Christmas opening hours

All Medway libraries will be closed on:

  • Wednesday 25 December 2019
  • Thursday 26 December 2019
  • Friday 27 December 2019
  • Wednesday 1 January 2020

On Tuesday 24 December and Tuesday 31 December 2019, we will be closing at 4pm.

Outside of these days, usual opening hours apply.

 

Opening hours
  • Monday: 10am to 1pm
  • Tuesday: 10am to 1pm
  • Wednesday: closed
  • Thursday: 1pm to 5pm
  • Friday: 9am to 12 (noon)
  • Saturday: 10am to 1pm
  • Sunday: closed

Please note that the library computers shut down 15 minutes prior to closing. 
 

Bank holidays

All Medway libraries are closed on bank holidays. 

You will still be able to use our 24 hour services including:

  • eBooks,
  • eAudiobooks,
  • eMagazines,
  • online resources – including access to the Encyclopaedia Britannica Online and the Dictionary of National Biography

You will also be able to reserve or renew books using your library card and PIN.
