If plastic film shopping or food bags (such as bread bags) cannot be reused they should be placed in white reusable bags for kerbside collection. Or you can return them to supermarkets for collection and recycling.
Handy tip: if the bag does not stretch it's cellophane and cannot currently be recycled.
