The newly refurbished Family Time Centre is now open after refurbishments.
The Family Time Centre, based in the Sunlight Centre, provides a space for family time contact between parents and their children. It is usually used during care proceedings but also at other times.
The recent updates will go a long way in making this family time a positive experience for children and their parents. We have tried to create a more friendly 'family home' environment at the centre.
The service is currently provided by Medway Council and Inspire Services. The refurbishment has included improving:
the layout of the centre to increase capacity
décor
lighting
carpeting
windows
These improvements make it more family friendly and safe for children.
