About Strood 3g Soccer Centre
Strood Soccer Centre is a purpose-built 3g all-weather soccer centre at Strood Sports Centre.It has a mix of 5-a-side and 7-a-side floodlit pitches that have recently been refurbished.
Strood is the birthplace of Isaac Newell, the man who helped pioneer football in Argentina in the late 19th century and later gave his name to the Argentinian club, Newell’s Old Boys.

You can book the following pitches:
- 5-a-side pitch: £36.00 (from 1 April 2024 - £40.10)
- 7-a-side pitch: £56.70. (from 1 April 2024 - £63.30).

Strood Soccer Centre sessions
Walking football
- Tuesdays: 11am to 12pm
- Fridays: 11pm to 12pm.
Medway Sport Football Academy
We run fun-based coaching sessions for boys and girls. Sessions are on:
- Saturdays: 9.30am to 10am for children aged 2 to 4 years (£4.40 per session)
- Saturdays: 10.15am to 11am for children aged 5 to 7 years (£4.40 per session).
