Moving premises or changing tenants
You'll need to register for business rates if your business has purchased or leased a property in Medway.
If you have received a business rates bill in your business name for the property, you're already registered for business rates.
If your business or a tenant are moving address, or you have bought or sold a property in the Medway area, you need to tell us so we can update your business rates details.

We’ll process your move notification as quickly as possible, and you’ll be sent a business rates bill showing your balance and account number.
If you opt for paperless billing, we’ll email you when you can view your bill using a Business Rates Online account.
You can use the account number to pay your bill and to apply for business rates reductions.
If your account is in credit when you move, you can request a business rates refund.
