We're running a number of events in housing services over the coming months for tenants and residents to get involved in.

ASB Awareness Week - Twydall

A pop-up event where residents will be able to discuss anti-social behaviour and find out more about the powers we have to tackle it.

More details on this event will be added once the awareness week theme has been released.

Mutual Exchange Homeswapper Workshop

At the workshop, Medway Council tenants can:

  • find out more about mutual exchanges
  • review their Homeswapper profile
  • get help with any questions about the process or Homeswapper.

The Resident Scrutiny Panel help to shape our services and provide a voice for our residents.

Softplay Takeover

In partnership with Medway Adult Education and Multiply, we would like to invite our tenants to a softplay takeover event.

At the takeover, there'll be:

  • a free softplay session for under 5s
  • Multiply sessions for parents and carers to take part in
  • the chance to learn new skills
  • the chance to find out more about learning opportunities
  • free refreshments.

  • Location: Dobbies, Courteney Road, Gillingham, ME8 0FB.

This event is for Medway Council tenants and their household. Spaces are limited to 2 adults and 2 children per booking so it's essential that you book before.

Odeon Cinema Takeover - Despicable Me 4

Join the Housing Team for a free trip to see Despicable Me 4.

There'll be opportunities to find out more about events and activities taking place in Medway over the summer holidays.

  • Time: 10.30am to 1pm
  • Location: Odeon Cinema, Leviathan Way, Chatham, ME4 4LL.

We'll have limited spaces available on minibuses from central locations in Gillingham, Rainham and Twydall.

This event is for Medway Council tenants and their household. Spaces are limited and booking is essential.

To book your place email tenant.participation@medway.gov.uk and include:

  • your name
  • your address
  • number of spaces required (adult or child)
  • whether you require transport and any accessibility requirements.

All bookings will be confirmed by email.
