Request a birth registration appointment online
You can request a birth registration or declaration appointment online.
To do this, you'll need to tell us:
- if you're registering or declaring a birth
- if it was a single or multiple birth
- the birth date
- where the child or children were born
- the name of the birth mother
- the marital status of the child’s parents at the time of birth
- the name of person making the appointment
- the people who are coming to the appointment (find out who has to go to a register or declare a birth appointment)
- your contact details (we'll need an email address if you would like to receive confirmation)
- when you would like to be contacted (morning or afternoon).

Medway Register Office will call you within 5 working days to book your appointment.
Appointments are available between 9.30am and 3pm, Monday to Friday.
