We can provide death certificates for people who have died in the Medway area.

All certificates cost £11, including second class postage.

You can order a death certificate sending a completed application form and payment to Medway Register Office.

Order in person

You can order a death certificate in person from the Medway Register Office. The office is open between 9.30am and 4pm Monday to Friday.

If the death was outside Medway, you can order a copy of a death certificate from the General Register Office or from the register office in the district where the death occurred.

Priority service

We provide a next working day service for applications received by 3pm.

The fee is £35 for one certificate and includes first class post.

Additional certificates from the same entry will cost £11 if ordered at the same time.
