Request a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO)
You can apply for a temporary road closure, also known as a temporary traffic regulation order (TTRO) and other roadwork restrictions under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic regulation act 1984.
For example, you can apply for:
- temporary closures
- banned right turns.
In certain circumstances, this regulation can also be used for events. We cannot help with road closures for funerals.
Fees
Our fees are:
- £1605.24 Planned Works s.14 (1) up to 21 days
- £2000 Planned Works s 14 (1) more than 21 days
- £1244.15 for Emergency Closures s.14 (2).
How to apply for a temporary road closure (TTRO)
To apply for a temporary road closure (TTRO) or other roadwork restrictions, email traffic.management@medway.gov.uk to request an application form.
