A vacancy has occurred on the Parish Council due to a resignation. Ten electors in the parish have requested that this vacancy be filled by election.
A by-election will take place on Thursday 4 September 2025.
The notice of election was published on Wednesday 30 July 2025, which formally started the statutory process.

Deadline for submission of nomination papers
The deadline for submission of nomination papers is 4pm on Thursday 7 August.
If after the deadline only one candidate has been validly nominated, they will be elected uncontested and there will not be an election on 4 September 2025.
If more than one valid candidate is nominated, we'll publish the list of candidates on this page on Friday 8 August.
Guidance for voters
Poll cards will be sent to eligible voters from Monday 11 August onwards.
To vote in person, you:
- do not need to bring your poll card to the polling station
- must bring a valid form of Vote ID.
All electors included in the 2025 Register of Electors are eligible to vote.

Postal votes
You may wish to vote with a postal pack.
The deadline to apply for a postal vote is 5pm on Tuesday 19 August.
Postal packs will be sent between 15 August and 26 August.
Vote by proxy
You may wish to appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf.
The deadline to appoint a proxy is 5pm on Wednesday 27 August.
