I, the undersigned, being the Returning Officer for the ward hereby give notice that the number of votes given for each candidate in the Rainham Central ward by-election was as follows:
- Janice (Jan) Aldous from The Conservative Party: 1448
- Simon Allen from the Labour Party: 320
- Paul Chaplin from the Liberal Democrats: 137
- George Geoffrey Meegan from the Green Party: 61
- Mark Mencattelli from UKIP: 389
- Michael (Mike) Ian Russell from the English Democrats: 14
I declare that Janice Aldous has been elected as Councillor for the Rainham Central ward.
