About the Medway Sports Awards 2022
We’re excited to announce the return of the Medway Sports Awards - Medway’s 2-yearly celebration of local sporting success.
It’s the first time the awards have been held since 2018 after the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic forced the awards to be cancelled in 2020. This means we have 4 years of success to reflect on and celebrate this year.
From clubs, teams and individuals to coaches, volunteers and schools, the Medway Sports Awards 2022 shine a light on the achievements of Medway's finest sportspeople and the dedication of the individuals who make sport happen in Medway.
Previous winners have included:
- Olympic gold medal-winning hockey goalkeeper Maddie Hinch
- Paralympic gold medal-winning skier Charlotte Evans
- Boxer Karol Itauma.
