In line with government advice to help prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), we've taken the decision to cancel all shows at The Brook and Central Theatres in Chatham up until the end of June.

About the Central Theatre
The Central Theatre is a 960-seat theatre venue in Chatham High Street.

Facilities for disabled people
There is disabled parking opposite the theatre from Best Street. The main entrance is at the front of the building and is approached by three steps with a central handrail and a ramp for wheelchair users through automatic doors.
The side entrance is for wheelchair users or those with mobility problems and can be found next to the Blue Badge car park. Please note that this entrance only opens 30 minutes before a performance and closes when the performance starts.
There are also lift access to other floors and at the rear of the stalls to give access to the balcony.
Facilities for the disabled include:
- High contrast signs with braille panels throughout the theatre
- sales points accessible to wheelchair users at the box office and the merchandise sales points
- wheelchair spaces available in several areas of the stalls but not in the balcony
We also have an infra-red system that can be used through earphones given at the box office or by via the T setting on a hearing aid. To access these services, you need to get an adaptor from the box office or by asking a member of the front of house staff. There is not charge for this service but customers will be asked for their name and seat number.
